Ferucci 2205 Prescription Glasses

If you want glasses that look smart and get out of the way, a rectangle is hard to beat. The Ferucci 2205 is a men’s full-rim plastic rectangular frame, sized 58-18-145, in Grey or Havana. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It is part of our Ferucci range.

Grey or Havana: which one is you?

Grey. In Grey, the frame is translucent grey. It is a great match for cooler skin tones and a crisp, tidy look.

Havana. Havana is a warm tortoiseshell. It warms up the face and sits nicely alongside camel, olive and cream.

About the Ferucci 2205 design

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. Because the colour is see-through, the frame has a light, glowing look.

The plastic frame is light on the nose and comfortable for all-day wear.

If you want a frame you can put on in the morning and forget about, the Ferucci 2205 is a strong choice.

Styling tips

Choose the darker colour for the office and the lighter one for a more relaxed look. Either way, it is an easy frame to wear every day.

How it fits

With 58mm lenses, this is a larger frame that suits wider faces. The 18mm bridge is average. The 145mm arms are on the longer side, which suits larger heads. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 134mm.

To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.

Lens options for the Ferucci 2205

Pick the lenses that match your prescription:

• Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
• Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.

The 40mm lens depth gives varifocal lenses plenty of room. Want lighter lenses? A high-index lens is thinner than standard plastic. Pair it with an anti-reflective coating for less glare when you drive after dark. Spend a lot of time on screens? This frame is also part of our blue light glasses range.

Ordering online is simple

You need a valid prescription from your optician and your pupillary distance (PD), the distance between your pupils. Many opticians include your PD on the prescription; if yours does not, just ask for it. Choose your colour, pick your lens type, enter your details and add any lens upgrades. If you are unsure about size, compare the measurements above with a pair you already wear.

How your glasses are made

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Ferucci 2205 and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

Keep them looking new

Rinse off any grit before you wipe, dry the lenses with a clean microfibre cloth, and take your glasses off with both hands so the arms stay aligned. See our lens care guide for more.
