Zenith 101 Prescription Glasses

Round glasses have a quiet, clever charm that never really goes out of style. The Zenith 101 is a women’s full-rim round frame, sized 50-16-135, in Magenta, Purple or Tort. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Zenith range.

3 colours to choose from

Magenta. In Magenta, the frame is striped magenta. It is a gentle way to wear colour every day.

Purple. The Purple version is lilac clear with tortoiseshell arms. It works beautifully with navy, grey and silver jewellery.

Tort. In Tort, the frame is tortoiseshell. It is softer than black and suits brown, auburn and red hair.

About the Zenith 101 design

Round frames soften angular features, so they are a great match for square and heart-shaped faces. Tortoiseshell arms add warmth and a classic finishing touch.

The striped finish adds texture that changes as the light catches it.

How to wear it

Pair it with simple gold or silver earrings and let the frame do the rest. If you wear your hair up, a frame like this can act as your main accessory.

Size and fit

At 50mm per lens, it is on the smaller side, which is ideal if most frames feel too wide. The 16mm bridge is on the narrow side. The 135mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 116mm.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the Zenith 101

Your optician’s prescription will usually tell you which of these you need:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

Want lighter lenses? A high-index lens is thinner than standard plastic. Pair it with an anti-reflective coating for less glare when you drive after dark.

Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.

A little care goes a long way

Clean your lenses with a microfibre cloth rather than your jumper, keep them in their case when they are in your bag, and do not leave them on a sunny car dashboard. Our lens care guide has more tips.
