Flamberry Prescription Glasses

A round frame is an easy way to add a little character. The Flamberry is a women’s full-rim plastic round frame in Purple Mix, Turquoise/Blue or Teal/Purple. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Infusion collection.

Which colour is you?

Purple Mix. Purple Mix is a good everyday shade. It works beautifully with navy, grey and silver jewellery.

Turquoise/Blue. Turquoise/Blue mixes turquoise and blue. It brings a cool, calm touch of colour that suits most skin tones.

Teal/Purple. Teal/Purple mixes teal and purple. It is unusual without being loud, and it looks fantastic with red, auburn or dark hair.

Still torn? Think about what you wear on an ordinary weekday, not on a night out. That is the colour you will be happiest with.

The details

Round frames soften angular features, so they are a great match for square and heart-shaped faces. A patterned front adds personality while still being easy to wear.

Plastic keeps the weight down and allows richer, deeper colour than metal.

With 59mm lenses, this is a larger frame that suits wider faces.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the Flamberry

Pick the lenses that match your prescription:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

Want lighter lenses? A high-index lens is thinner than standard plastic. Pair it with an anti-reflective coating for less glare when you drive after dark.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

From our lab to you

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Flamberry and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

Keep them looking new

Clean your lenses with a microfibre cloth rather than your jumper, keep them in their case when they are in your bag, and do not leave them on a sunny car dashboard. Our lens care guide has more tips.

Is it a large frame?

Yes. With 59mm lenses it suits wider faces.

Can I wear the Flamberry for driving?

Yes. Single vision or varifocal lenses work well for driving, and an anti-reflective coating helps cut glare from headlights at night.

Where are my lenses made?

In our UK optical lab. They are cut to your prescription, fitted into your frame and checked before they are sent out.
