About the Infusion Lavesteria
Lavesteria Prescription Glasses
If you want glasses that look smart and get out of the way, a rectangle is hard to beat. The Lavesteria is a women’s full-rim plastic rectangular frame in Red/Clear or Teal. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Infusion range.
Red/Clear or Teal?
Red/Clear. Red/Clear mixes red and clear. Because light passes through it, the frame looks lighter on the face and lets your features do the talking.
Teal. Teal is a blue-green teal. It brings out brown, hazel and green eyes.
Each colour is shown in the gallery, so you can compare them side by side before you decide.
About the Lavesteria design
Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. The tortoiseshell arms pair nicely with the front and give the frame a relaxed feel.
Plastic keeps the weight down and allows richer, deeper colour than metal.
The Lavesteria is a great everyday frame: smart enough for work and relaxed enough for the weekend.
Wearing it every day
For work, pair it with a crisp shirt or blazer. At the weekend it looks just as good with a T-shirt and jeans.
How it fits
| Brand | Infusion |
|---|---|
| Frame | Full Rim, Plastic |
| Colours | Red/Clear, Teal |
| Designed for | Women |
The 51mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces.
To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.
Lens options for the Lavesteria
Pick the lenses that match your prescription:
- Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
- Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
- Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
- Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.
If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.
Ordering online is simple
You need a valid prescription from your optician and your pupillary distance (PD), the distance between your pupils. Many opticians include your PD on the prescription; if yours does not, just ask for it. Choose your colour, pick your lens type, enter your details and add any lens upgrades. If you are unsure about size, compare the measurements above with a pair you already wear.
How your glasses are made
Your Lavesteria is glazed in our UK-based lab. Once you have chosen your lenses and entered your prescription, we cut and fit the lenses and check the finished glasses before they go out.
Keep them looking new
Clean your lenses with a microfibre cloth rather than your jumper, keep them in their case when they are in your bag, and do not leave them on a sunny car dashboard. Our lens care guide has more tips.
A second pair?
Plenty of people keep more than one pair of glasses: one for work, one for home, or a spare in the car. A second pair also means you are never stuck if your main glasses are being repaired. This frame is an easy choice for either role.
Questions we often get
Can I use the Lavesteria as computer glasses?
Yes. Single vision lenses set to your screen distance, or varifocals if you also need distance vision, both work well for desk work.
Where are my lenses made?
In our UK optical lab. They are cut to your prescription, fitted into your frame and checked before they are sent out.
