About the Infusion Cardimine
Cardimine Prescription Glasses
If you like structure but not sharp angles, a soft square is the sweet spot. The Cardimine is a women’s full-rim plastic soft square frame in Purple Mix, Brown Mix or Blue Mix. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It is part of our Infusion collection.
Choosing your Cardimine colour
Purple Mix. The Purple Mix version is patterned pink and purple. It brings a little personality without overpowering your features.
Brown Mix. In Brown Mix, the frame is patterned brown and purple. It warms up the face and sits nicely alongside camel, olive and cream.
Blue Mix. In Blue Mix, the frame is patterned blue and purple. It is a fresh alternative to black that still looks professional.
Still torn? Think about what you wear on an ordinary weekday, not on a night out. That is the colour you will be happiest with.
Why you will like it
The softened corners suit round, oval and heart-shaped faces, adding a little shape without looking severe. The patterned finish means no two angles look quite the same.
Plastic keeps the weight down and allows richer, deeper colour than metal.
Whether it is your main pair or a spare, the Cardimine is easy to live with.
Styling tips
For work, pair it with a crisp shirt or blazer. At the weekend it looks just as good with a T-shirt and jeans.

Lens options for the Cardimine
Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:
- Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
- Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
- Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
- Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.
With a stronger prescription, a thinner high-index lens keeps the edges slim, and an anti-reflective coating cuts reflections from screens and street lights.
Before you order
Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.
From our lab to you
Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Cardimine and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.
A little care goes a long way
Rinse off any grit before you wipe, dry the lenses with a clean microfibre cloth, and take your glasses off with both hands so the arms stay aligned. See our lens care guide for more.
Who it is for
This frame is a good fit for anyone who wants reliable everyday glasses without fuss. It works for long days at a desk, the school run, driving and catching up with friends, and it pairs with most wardrobes. If you are replacing an old pair, compare the measurements above with the glasses you wear now.
Your questions, answered
Is the Cardimine comfortable for all-day wear?
Yes. It is a lightweight frame, and a thinner lens for a stronger prescription keeps the weight down even further.
Who glazes my lenses?
Our own optical lab in the UK. Your lenses are made to your prescription and fitted into the frame before your glasses are sent to you.
