CAP11 Prescription Glasses

Geometric frames are for people who like their glasses to be a little bit interesting. The CAP11 is a women’s full-rim metal geometric frame in Gold, Silver or Rose Gold. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Capello range.

3 colours to choose from

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It suits warm and olive skin tones beautifully.

Silver. Silver is a clean, bright silver. It is cool, modern and understated, and it suits grey or silver hair especially well.

Rose Gold. Rose Gold is a soft pink-gold. It gives a polished, classic finish that never looks loud.

The details

The angular shape suits round and oval faces, where it adds definition and interest. The slim metal construction keeps it light and neat, and it is easy for an optician to adjust.

Styling tips

Match the frame colour to something you wear often, such as a favourite scarf or bag, for a pulled-together look. Neutral make-up keeps the focus on your eyes.

The 53mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the CAP11

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.

Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.

How your glasses are made

Your CAP11 is glazed in our UK-based lab. Once you have chosen your lenses and entered your prescription, we cut and fit the lenses and check the finished glasses before they go out.

Looking after them

Rinse off any grit before you wipe, dry the lenses with a clean microfibre cloth, and take your glasses off with both hands so the arms stay aligned. See our lens care guide for more.

A second pair?

Plenty of people keep more than one pair of glasses: one for work, one for home, or a spare in the car. A second pair also means you are never stuck if your main glasses are being repaired. This frame is an easy choice for either role.

Can I wear the CAP11 for driving?

Yes. Single vision or varifocal lenses work well for driving, and an anti-reflective coating helps cut glare from headlights at night.

Do you make the lenses yourselves?

Yes. Every pair is made to order in our UK optical lab, where your lenses are cut to your prescription and fitted into your frame.
