Byron Prescription Glasses

Rectangular glasses add a little structure to the face without any fuss. The Byron is a men’s full-rim rectangular frame, sized 56-17-140, in Blue. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Walter & Herbert range.

About the Byron colour

Blue. The Blue version is striped blue. It brings a cool, calm touch of colour that suits most skin tones.

Frame size and fit

At 56mm per lens, it is a generous size, a good pick if standard frames feel tight. The 17mm bridge is average. The 140mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 129mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Lens options for the Byron

With a stronger prescription, a thinner high-index lens keeps the edges slim, and an anti-reflective coating cuts reflections from screens and street lights.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.
