Fields Prescription Glasses

Rectangular glasses add a little structure to the face without any fuss. The Fields is a women’s full-rim rectangular frame, sized 53-16-135, in Grey, Purple or Purple / Pink. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Walter & Herbert collection.

Which colour is you?

Grey. Grey is a soft, neutral grey. It is a great match for cooler skin tones and a crisp, tidy look.

Purple. Purple is a rich purple. It adds a confident touch of colour and suits fair and cool skin tones.

Purple / Pink. Purple / Pink pairs purple with pink. It works beautifully with navy, grey and silver jewellery.

About the Fields design

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. A patterned front adds personality while still being easy to wear.

If you want a frame you can put on in the morning and forget about, the Fields is a strong choice.

Wearing it every day

Match the frame colour to something you wear often, such as a favourite scarf or bag, for a pulled-together look. Neutral make-up keeps the focus on your eyes.

Size and fit

The 53mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces. The 16mm bridge is on the narrow side. The 135mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 122mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Lens options for the Fields

Pick the lenses that match your prescription:

• Varifocals if you want to see near and far without swapping glasses.
• Single vision for one task done well, such as driving, reading or screen work.
• Bifocals if you prefer a clearly defined reading area.
• Ready readers for straightforward close-up help.

If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.

Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.

From our lab to you

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Fields and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

Keep them looking new

Rinse off any grit before you wipe, dry the lenses with a clean microfibre cloth, and take your glasses off with both hands so the arms stay aligned. See our lens care guide for more.

What size is it?

It is size 53-16-135: 53mm lens width, 16mm bridge and 135mm arms, a medium fit.

Is the Fields comfortable for all-day wear?

Yes. It is a lightweight frame, and a thinner lens for a stronger prescription keeps the weight down even further.

Will it suit a narrow nose?

Yes. The 16mm bridge is designed for slimmer noses.

Who glazes my lenses?

Our own optical lab in the UK. Your lenses are made to your prescription and fitted into the frame before your glasses are sent to you.
