Ascari Eyewear 066 Prescription Glasses

If you want a frame with a bit of attitude, start with a cat-eye. The Ascari Eyewear 066 is a unisex full-rim cat-eye frame, sized 54-15-140, in Black, Brown Mottle or Burgundy. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Ascari Eyewear Collection.

Choosing your Ascari Eyewear 066 colour

Black. Black is a deep, solid black. Black suits every hair colour and frames the face with confidence.

Brown Mottle. Brown Mottle is a mottled brown. It warms up the face and sits nicely alongside camel, olive and cream.

Burgundy. Burgundy is a deep wine red. It is a grown-up way to wear colour.

Shape and style

The upswept outer corners suit round, oval and square faces especially well, giving the face a gentle lift. The tortoiseshell arms pair nicely with the front and give the frame a relaxed feel.

Frame size and fit

The 54mm lenses put it at the upper end of medium. The 15mm bridge is narrow, so it sits securely on a slimmer nose. The 140mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 123mm.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the Ascari Eyewear 066

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
• Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.

The 39mm lens depth gives varifocal lenses plenty of room. Want lighter lenses? A high-index lens is thinner than standard plastic. Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.

A little care goes a long way

Can I get varifocal lenses in the Ascari Eyewear 066?

Yes. The 39mm lens depth gives varifocal lenses enough height for all three vision zones.

Can I use the Ascari Eyewear 066 as computer glasses?

Yes. Single vision lenses set to your screen distance, or varifocals if you also need distance vision, both work well for desk work.

Will it suit a narrow nose?

Yes. The 15mm bridge is designed for slimmer noses.
