Cameo Poppy Prescription Glasses

There is something friendly and approachable about a round frame. The Cameo Poppy is a women’s full-rim metal round frame, sized 51-17-140, in Brown Multi, Grey Multi or Teal Multi. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Cameo range.

Which colour is you?

Brown Multi. In Brown Multi, the frame is patterned brown multi. It flatters warm and olive skin and works with almost any outfit.

Grey Multi. The Grey Multi version is patterned grey multi. It is a quiet, professional finish that works with navy, charcoal and white.

Teal Multi. In Teal Multi, the frame is patterned teal multi. It is unusual without being loud, and it looks fantastic with red, auburn or dark hair.

Shape and style

Frame size and fit

At 51mm per lens, it sits in the medium range, the most common adult fit. The 17mm bridge is average. The 140mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 119mm.

To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.

Lens options for the Cameo Poppy

Your optician’s prescription will usually tell you which of these you need:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

With a stronger prescription, a thinner high-index lens keeps the edges slim, and an anti-reflective coating cuts reflections from screens and street lights.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

Keep them looking new

Can I use the Cameo Poppy as computer glasses?

Yes. Single vision lenses set to your screen distance, or varifocals if you also need distance vision, both work well for desk work.

Do you make the lenses yourselves?

Yes. Every pair is made to order in our UK optical lab, where your lenses are cut to your prescription and fitted into your frame.
