CAP07 Prescription Glasses

Round glasses have a quiet, clever charm that never really goes out of style. The CAP07 is a men’s full-rim metal round frame in Rose Gold, Lilac or Gold. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Capello collection.

Choosing your CAP07 colour

Rose Gold. Rose Gold is a soft pink-gold. It brings warmth to the face and looks lovely with gold jewellery or a watch.

Lilac. Lilac is a soft, pale purple. It works beautifully with navy, grey and silver jewellery.

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It suits warm and olive skin tones beautifully.

If you are stuck between two, choose the one closest to the colours you wear most. You can always add a second pair later.

Design details

Round frames soften angular features, so they are a great match for square and heart-shaped faces. Metal lets the frame stay slim and light while keeping its shape.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the CAP07

Your optician’s prescription will usually tell you which of these you need:

• Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
• Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.

With a stronger prescription, a thinner high-index lens keeps the edges slim, and an anti-reflective coating cuts reflections from screens and street lights.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

Your CAP07 is glazed in our UK-based lab. Once you have chosen your lenses and entered your prescription, we cut and fit the lenses and check the finished glasses before they go out.

A little care goes a long way

Clean your lenses with a microfibre cloth rather than your jumper, keep them in their case when they are in your bag, and do not leave them on a sunny car dashboard. Our lens care guide has more tips.

Yes. Single vision lenses set to your screen distance, or varifocals if you also need distance vision, both work well for desk work.

In our UK optical lab. They are cut to your prescription, fitted into your frame and checked before they are sent out.
