If you want glasses that look smart and get out of the way, a rectangle is hard to beat. The Ferucci 2032 is a men’s full-rim metal rectangular frame, sized 50-17-135, in Gold or Gunmetal. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Ferucci range.

Gold or Gunmetal: which one is you?

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It gives a polished, classic finish that never looks loud.

Gunmetal. Gunmetal is a dark, smoky grey metal. It goes with almost everything and never draws too much attention.

Shape and style

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. Tortoiseshell arms add warmth and a classic finishing touch.

At 50mm per lens, it is on the smaller side, which is ideal if most frames feel too wide. The 17mm bridge is average. The 135mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 117mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Ferucci 2032 and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

Looking after them
