Ferucci Titanium 728 Prescription Glasses

Rectangular glasses add a little structure to the face without any fuss. The Ferucci Titanium 728 is a men’s semi-rimless titanium rectangular frame, sized 54-18-140, in Gold or Gunmetal. Gold or Gunmetal?

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It gives a polished, classic finish that never looks loud.

Gunmetal. Gunmetal is a dark, smoky grey metal. It goes with almost everything and never draws too much attention.

If you are stuck between two, choose the one closest to the colours you wear most. You can always add a second pair later.

The details

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. The frame runs along the top of the lenses only, so the lower edge is open and your view stays clear.

Titanium is very light for its strength and resists corrosion, so it stays comfortable and keeps its finish.

Styling tips

It looks sharp with a collared shirt and works just as well with a T-shirt. If you have a beard, a slightly bolder frame balances the face nicely.

Frame size and fit

The 54mm lenses put it at the upper end of medium. The 18mm bridge is average. The 140mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 126mm.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
