Puriti 02 Prescription Glasses

If you want glasses that look smart and get out of the way, a rectangle is hard to beat. The Puriti 02 is a men’s semi-rimless metal rectangular frame, sized 52-20-140, in Gold or Titan. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Puriti collection.

Gold or Titan?

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It suits warm and olive skin tones beautifully.

Titan. The Titan version is silver. It is a quiet, professional finish that works with navy, charcoal and white.

If you are stuck between two, choose the one closest to the colours you wear most. You can always add a second pair later.

Design details

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. The frame runs along the top of the lenses only, so the lower edge is open and your view stays clear.

Metal lets the frame stay slim and light while keeping its shape.

Whether it is your main pair or a spare, the Puriti 02 is easy to live with. The Puriti 02 is an easy frame to wear every day.

Styling tips

Short hair and a clean shave make the frame shape stand out; with longer hair or a beard it reads as more relaxed.

Frame size and fit

The 52mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces. The 20mm bridge is wider than average, which suits a broader nose bridge. The 140mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 124mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Lens options for the Puriti 02

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
• Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.

Want lighter lenses? A high-index lens is thinner than standard plastic. Pair it with an anti-reflective coating for less glare when you drive after dark.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Puriti 02 and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

A little care goes a long way

Use lens spray and a soft cloth, fold the arms before putting your glasses down, and store them in a hard case. Our guide to looking after your lenses covers the rest.

What size is it?

It is size 52-20-140: 52mm lens width, 20mm bridge and 140mm arms, a medium fit.

Is the Puriti 02 comfortable for all-day wear?

Yes. It is a lightweight frame, and a thinner lens for a stronger prescription keeps the weight down even further.

Will it suit a wider nose bridge?

Yes. The 20mm bridge is wider than most frames.

What does semi-rimless mean?

The frame runs along the top of the lenses only. The lower edge is held by a fine line, so the bottom of the lens is open.

Do you make the lenses yourselves?

Yes. Every pair is made to order in our UK optical lab, where your lenses are cut to your prescription and fitted into your frame.
