Puriti 23 Prescription Glasses

A clean rectangular frame works at the office, at home and everywhere in between. The Puriti 23 is a men’s full-rim metal rectangular frame, sized 54-19-145, in Navy or Ruthenium. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Puriti collection.

Choosing your Puriti 23 colour

Navy. Navy is a deep, dark blue. It is a fresh alternative to black that still looks professional.

Ruthenium. Ruthenium is a dark metallic grey. It is a great match for cooler skin tones and a crisp, tidy look.

If you are stuck between two, choose the one closest to the colours you wear most. You can always add a second pair later.

The details

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. Metal lets the frame stay slim and light while keeping its shape.

The Puriti 23 is a great everyday frame: smart enough for work and relaxed enough for the weekend.

How to wear it

It looks sharp with a collared shirt and works just as well with a T-shirt. If you have a beard, a slightly bolder frame balances the face nicely.

Size and fit

The 54mm lenses put it at the upper end of medium. The 19mm bridge is a little wider than average. The 145mm arms are on the longer side, which suits larger heads. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 127mm.

To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.

Lens options for the Puriti 23

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Varifocals if you want to see near and far without swapping glasses.
• Single vision for one task done well, such as driving, reading or screen work.
• Bifocals if you prefer a clearly defined reading area.
• Ready readers for straightforward close-up help.

If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

How your glasses are made

Your Puriti 23 is glazed in our UK-based lab. Once you have chosen your lenses and entered your prescription, we cut and fit the lenses and check the finished glasses before they go out.

Looking after them

Use lens spray and a soft cloth, fold the arms before putting your glasses down, and store them in a hard case. Our guide to looking after your lenses covers the rest.

Can I wear the Puriti 23 for driving?

Yes. Single vision or varifocal lenses work well for driving, and an anti-reflective coating helps cut glare from headlights at night.

Who glazes my lenses?

Our own optical lab in the UK. Your lenses are made to your prescription and fitted into the frame before your glasses are sent to you.
