Aubrillion Prescription Glasses

Rectangular frames are the dependable all-rounders of eyewear. The Aubrillion is a women’s full-rim plastic rectangular frame in Purple Mix, Green or Blue Mix. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It is part of our Infusion range.

Choosing your Aubrillion colour

Purple Mix. Purple Mix is a good everyday shade. It is softer than it sounds and looks lovely with grey or silver hair.

Green. Green is an earthy green. It pairs well with neutrals, denim and earthy colours.

Blue Mix. In Blue Mix, the frame is patterned blue. It is a fresh alternative to black that still looks professional.

Still torn? Think about what you wear on an ordinary weekday, not on a night out. That is the colour you will be happiest with.

The details

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. A patterned front adds personality while still being easy to wear.

The plastic frame is light on the nose and comfortable for all-day wear.

The Aubrillion is a great everyday frame: smart enough for work and relaxed enough for the weekend.

Wearing it every day

For work, pair it with a crisp shirt or blazer. At the weekend it looks just as good with a T-shirt and jeans.

Size and fit

The 54mm lenses put it at the upper end of medium.

To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.

Lens options for the Aubrillion

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.

Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Aubrillion and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

A little care goes a long way

Clean your lenses with a microfibre cloth rather than your jumper, keep them in their case when they are in your bag, and do not leave them on a sunny car dashboard. Our lens care guide has more tips.

A second pair?

Plenty of people keep more than one pair of glasses: one for work, one for home, or a spare in the car. A second pair also means you are never stuck if your main glasses are being repaired. This frame is an easy choice for either role.

Is the Aubrillion comfortable for all-day wear?

Yes. It is a lightweight frame, and a thinner lens for a stronger prescription keeps the weight down even further.

Who glazes my lenses?

Our own optical lab in the UK. Your lenses are made to your prescription and fitted into the frame before your glasses are sent to you.
