Cidrefire Prescription Glasses

Upswept corners have a way of lifting the whole face. The Cidrefire is a women’s full-rim plastic cat-eye frame in Black/Purple, Burgundy Mix or Teal/Mix. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Infusion range.

3 colours to choose from

Black/Purple. Black/Purple mixes black and purple. It is the safest choice if you only want one pair, and it never looks out of place.

Burgundy Mix. In Burgundy Mix, the frame is patterned burgundy. It is a grown-up way to wear colour.

Teal/Mix. The Teal/Mix version is patterned teal. It feels fresh and a little bit different, which is exactly why people notice it.

Design details

The upswept outer corners suit round, oval and square faces especially well, giving the face a gentle lift. The patterned finish means no two angles look quite the same.

The plastic frame is light on the nose and comfortable for all-day wear.

If you want a frame you can put on in the morning and forget about, the Cidrefire is a strong choice. Thinking of a second pair? The Cidrefire works well as a backup.

How to wear it

Match the frame colour to something you wear often, such as a favourite scarf or bag, for a pulled-together look. Neutral make-up keeps the focus on your eyes.

Frame size and fit

The 53mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces.

To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.

Lens options for the Cidrefire

Pick the lenses that match your prescription:

• Varifocals if you want to see near and far without swapping glasses.
• Single vision for one task done well, such as driving, reading or screen work.
• Bifocals if you prefer a clearly defined reading area.
• Ready readers for straightforward close-up help.

Want lighter lenses? A high-index lens is thinner than standard plastic. Pair it with an anti-reflective coating for less glare when you drive after dark.

Ordering online is simple

You need a valid prescription from your optician and your pupillary distance (PD), the distance between your pupils. Many opticians include your PD on the prescription; if yours does not, just ask for it. Choose your colour, pick your lens type, enter your details and add any lens upgrades. If you are unsure about size, compare the measurements above with a pair you already wear.

From our lab to you

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Cidrefire and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

A little care goes a long way

Use lens spray and a soft cloth, fold the arms before putting your glasses down, and store them in a hard case. Our guide to looking after your lenses covers the rest.

Can I use the Cidrefire as computer glasses?

Yes. Single vision lenses set to your screen distance, or varifocals if you also need distance vision, both work well for desk work.

Do you make the lenses yourselves?

Yes. Every pair is made to order in our UK optical lab, where your lenses are cut to your prescription and fitted into your frame.
