Ascari Eyewear 072 Prescription Glasses

There is something friendly and approachable about a round frame. The Ascari Eyewear 072 is a unisex full-rim round frame, sized 52-18-140, in Black, Brown or Grey. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It is part of our Ascari Eyewear Collection.

Which colour is you?

Black. In Black, the frame is black and amber. It is the safest choice if you only want one pair, and it never looks out of place.

Brown. The Brown version is striped brown. It warms up the face and sits nicely alongside camel, olive and cream.

Grey. In Grey, the frame is translucent grey. It is a quiet, professional finish that works with navy, charcoal and white.

The 52mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces. The 18mm bridge is average. The 140mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 122mm.

To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.

At 41mm, the lens depth is deeper than most frames in our range, so varifocal lenses have lots of room. Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.
