Cameo Evelyn Prescription Glasses

A clean rectangular frame works at the office, at home and everywhere in between. The Cameo Evelyn is a women’s full-rim metal rectangular frame, sized 51-17-130, in Gold, Lilac or Rose. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It is part of our Cameo collection.

3 colours to choose from

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It gives a polished, classic finish that never looks loud.

Lilac. Lilac is a soft, pale purple. It brings a little personality without overpowering your features.

Rose. In Rose, the frame is pink. It pairs nicely with neutrals, white and rose gold jewellery.

Design details

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. The slim metal construction keeps it light and neat, and it is easy for an optician to adjust.

Whether it is your main pair or a spare, the Cameo Evelyn is easy to live with.

How to wear it

Match the frame colour to something you wear often, such as a favourite scarf or bag, for a pulled-together look. Neutral make-up keeps the focus on your eyes.

Size and fit

The 51mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces. The 17mm bridge is average. The 130mm arms are a little shorter than standard. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 119mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Lens options for the Cameo Evelyn

Pick the lenses that match your prescription:

• Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
• Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.

If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

A little care goes a long way

Clean your lenses with a microfibre cloth rather than your jumper, keep them in their case when they are in your bag, and do not leave them on a sunny car dashboard. Our lens care guide has more tips.

Is the Cameo Evelyn comfortable for all-day wear?

Yes. It is a lightweight frame, and a thinner lens for a stronger prescription keeps the weight down even further.

Where are my lenses made?

In our UK optical lab. They are cut to your prescription, fitted into your frame and checked before they are sent out.
