Cameo Jodie Prescription Glasses

There is something friendly and approachable about a round frame. The Cameo Jodie is a women’s full-rim round frame, sized 50-17-140, in Purple, Red or Teal. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It is part of our Cameo collection.

Purple. Purple is a rich purple. It adds a confident touch of colour and suits fair and cool skin tones.

Red. Red is a confident red. It adds warmth without being too bright, and it suits most skin tones.

Teal. In Teal, the frame is translucent teal. It brings out brown, hazel and green eyes.

Design details

Round frames soften angular features, so they are a great match for square and heart-shaped faces. The translucent finish lets light through, so the frame looks lighter and softer than a solid colour.

Take a look at the arms: the detailing there is what makes this frame special. The patterned finish means no two angles look quite the same.

Frame size and fit

At 50mm per lens, it is on the smaller side, which is ideal if most frames feel too wide. The 17mm bridge is average. The 140mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 117mm.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the Cameo Jodie

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Varifocals if you want to see near and far without swapping glasses.
• Single vision for one task done well, such as driving, reading or screen work.
• Bifocals if you prefer a clearly defined reading area.
• Ready readers for straightforward close-up help.

With a stronger prescription, a thinner high-index lens keeps the edges slim, and an anti-reflective coating cuts reflections from screens and street lights.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

A little care goes a long way
