Cameo Paris Prescription Glasses

A cat-eye is one of the most flattering shapes you can wear. The Cameo Paris is a women’s full-rim metal cat-eye frame, sized 53-17-135, in Black, Pewter or Purple. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Cameo range.

3 colours to choose from

Black. In Black, the frame is black and gold. It is the safest choice if you only want one pair, and it never looks out of place.

Pewter. Pewter is a soft, dull silver-grey. It goes with almost everything and never draws too much attention.

Purple. Purple is a rich purple. It adds a confident touch of colour and suits fair and cool skin tones.

The upswept outer corners suit round, oval and square faces especially well, giving the face a gentle lift. Take a look at the arms: the detailing there is what makes this frame special.

Size and fit

The 53mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces. The 17mm bridge is average. The 135mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 123mm.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the Cameo Paris

Your optician’s prescription will usually tell you which of these you need:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

Want lighter lenses? A high-index lens is thinner than standard plastic. Pair it with an anti-reflective coating for less glare when you drive after dark.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

A little care goes a long way
