Cameo Sienna Prescription Glasses

Upswept corners have a way of lifting the whole face. The Cameo Sienna is a women’s full-rim cat-eye frame, sized 49-17-135, in Dark Purple, Green or Rose. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Cameo collection.

Dark Purple. Dark Purple is easy to wear. It adds a confident touch of colour and suits fair and cool skin tones.

Green. Green is an earthy green. It brings out brown, hazel and green eyes.

Rose. Rose is a soft dusty pink. It brightens the face and has a fresh, youthful feel.

Shape and style

The upswept outer corners suit round, oval and square faces especially well, giving the face a gentle lift. A soft colour fade defines the brow line and lets the lower half of the frame melt away.

With 49mm lenses, this is a compact frame that suits smaller faces. The 17mm bridge is average. The 135mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 115mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Lens options for the Cameo Sienna

Pick the lenses that match your prescription:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.

What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.
