CAP03 Prescription Glasses

Rectangular glasses add a little structure to the face without any fuss. The CAP03 is a men’s full-rim metal rectangular frame in Silver, Pink or Gold. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Capello collection.

3 colours to choose from

Silver. Silver is a clean, bright silver. It goes with almost everything and never draws too much attention.

Pink. Pink is a soft pink. It is soft and pretty, and it suits fair and cool skin tones.

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It gives a polished, classic finish that never looks loud.

If you are stuck between two, choose the one closest to the colours you wear most. You can always add a second pair later.

Shape and style

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. Metal lets the frame stay slim and light while keeping its shape.

If you want a frame you can put on in the morning and forget about, the CAP03 is a strong choice.

Wearing it every day

Choose the darker colour for the office and the lighter one for a more relaxed look. Either way, it is an easy frame to wear every day.

Size and fit

At 50mm per lens, it is on the smaller side, which is ideal if most frames feel too wide.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the CAP03

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.

Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.

From our lab to you

Your CAP03 is glazed in our UK-based lab. Once you have chosen your lenses and entered your prescription, we cut and fit the lenses and check the finished glasses before they go out.

Keep them looking new

Use lens spray and a soft cloth, fold the arms before putting your glasses down, and store them in a hard case. Our guide to looking after your lenses covers the rest.

Is it a small frame?

Yes. With 50mm lenses it suits smaller faces.

Can I wear the CAP03 for driving?

Yes. Single vision or varifocal lenses work well for driving, and an anti-reflective coating helps cut glare from headlights at night.

Do you make the lenses yourselves?

Yes. Every pair is made to order in our UK optical lab, where your lenses are cut to your prescription and fitted into your frame.
