A softly squared frame is one of the most versatile shapes around. The Ferucci 1826 is a women’s full-rim metal soft square frame, sized 52-15-135, in Gold or Rose Gold. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Ferucci collection.

Gold or Rose Gold?

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It brings warmth to the face and looks lovely with gold jewellery or a watch.

Rose Gold. Rose Gold is a soft pink-gold. It is a warm, elegant choice that pairs nicely with earthy colours.

If you are stuck between two, choose the one closest to the colours you wear most. You can always add a second pair later.

Design details

The softened corners suit round, oval and heart-shaped faces, adding a little shape without looking severe. Decorative arms give the frame a finished, designer feel when you see it side on.

The 52mm lenses make this a medium frame that suits most faces. The 15mm bridge is narrow, so it sits securely on a slimmer nose. The 135mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 119mm.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

Lens options for the Ferucci 1826

Pick the lenses that match your prescription:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

The 40mm lens depth gives varifocal lenses plenty of room. If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. Before you order

Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.

How your glasses are made

Pick your colour and lenses, add your prescription and PD, and our UK lab cuts your lenses and fits them into your Ferucci 1826. Every pair is checked before it leaves us.

Keep them looking new

Can I get varifocal lenses in the Ferucci 1826?

Yes. The 40mm lens depth gives varifocal lenses enough height for all three vision zones.

Can I use the Ferucci 1826 as computer glasses?

Yes. Single vision lenses set to your screen distance, or varifocals if you also need distance vision, both work well for desk work.

Will it suit a narrow nose?

Yes. The 15mm bridge is designed for slimmer noses.
