If you want glasses that look smart and get out of the way, a rectangle is hard to beat. The Ferucci 2045 is a men’s full-rim metal rectangular frame, sized 56-17-145, in Bronze or Gunmetal. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Ferucci range.

Bronze or Gunmetal?

Bronze. Bronze is a warm, brownish metallic finish. It brings warmth to the face and looks lovely with gold jewellery or a watch.

Gunmetal. Gunmetal is a dark, smoky grey metal. It is a quiet, professional finish that works with navy, charcoal and white.

Why you will like it

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. A bar across the top of the bridge gives the frame a classic aviator touch and adds strength to the front.

Frame size and fit

At 56mm per lens, it is a generous size, a good pick if standard frames feel tight. The 17mm bridge is average. The 145mm arms are on the longer side, which suits larger heads. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 129mm.

To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.

Ordering online is simple

You need a valid prescription from your optician and your pupillary distance (PD), the distance between your pupils. Many opticians include your PD on the prescription; if yours does not, just ask for it. Choose your colour, pick your lens type, enter your details and add any lens upgrades. Keep them looking new
