Ferucci 2056 Prescription Glasses

A clean rectangular frame works at the office, at home and everywhere in between. The Ferucci 2056 is a men’s full-rim metal rectangular frame, sized 55-17-145, in Black or Gunmetal. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It is part of our Ferucci range.

Black or Gunmetal?

Black. Black is a deep, solid black. It is the safest choice if you only want one pair, and it never looks out of place.

Gunmetal. Gunmetal is a dark, smoky grey metal. It is a great match for cooler skin tones and a crisp, tidy look.

About the Ferucci 2056 design

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. The slim metal construction keeps it light and neat, and it is easy for an optician to adjust.

Whether it is your main pair or a spare, the Ferucci 2056 is easy to live with.

Wearing it every day

Short hair and a clean shave make the frame shape stand out; with longer hair or a beard it reads as more relaxed.

Frame size and fit

At 55mm per lens, it is a generous size, a good pick if standard frames feel tight. The 17mm bridge is average. The 145mm arms are on the longer side, which suits larger heads. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 127mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Lens options for the Ferucci 2056

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Single vision: one prescription across the whole lens, for distance, reading or the computer.
• Varifocal: near, intermediate and distance in one lens, with no visible line.
• Bifocal: a separate reading segment in the lower part of the lens.
• Ready readers: simple magnification if you just need help with close work.

The 40mm lens depth gives varifocal lenses plenty of room. Want lighter lenses? A high-index lens is thinner than standard plastic. Ordering online is simple

You need a valid prescription from your optician and your pupillary distance (PD), the distance between your pupils. Many opticians include your PD on the prescription; if yours does not, just ask for it. Choose your colour, pick your lens type, enter your details and add any lens upgrades. If you are unsure about size, compare the measurements above with a pair you already wear.

Keep them looking new
