Freya Rosie Prescription Glasses

A softly squared frame is one of the most versatile shapes around. The Freya Rosie is a unisex full-rim soft square frame, sized 53-16-140, in Black, Blue or Purple. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Freya by Dunelm Collection.

Which colour is you?

Black. Black is a deep, solid black. It looks sharp at work and just as good with jeans at the weekend.

Blue. In Blue, the frame is navy. It brings a cool, calm touch of colour that suits most skin tones.

Purple. Purple is a rich purple. It works beautifully with navy, grey and silver jewellery.

Frame size and fit

At 53mm per lens, it sits in the medium range, the most common adult fit. The 16mm bridge is on the narrow side. The 140mm arms are a standard length. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 122mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Lens options for the Freya Rosie

Pick the lenses that match your prescription:

• Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
• Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.

The 37mm lens depth works with single vision, bifocal and many varifocal lenses. If your prescription is high, a high-index lens keeps things thin. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating is a sensible extra for everyday wear.

Ordering online is simple

You need a valid prescription from your optician and your pupillary distance (PD), the distance between your pupils. Many opticians include your PD on the prescription; if yours does not, just ask for it. Choose your colour, pick your lens type, enter your details and add any lens upgrades. If you are unsure about size, compare the measurements above with a pair you already wear.

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Freya Rosie and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

Keep them looking new

Clean your lenses with a microfibre cloth rather than your jumper, keep them in their case when they are in your bag, and do not leave them on a sunny car dashboard. Our lens care guide has more tips.

Can I get varifocal lenses in the Freya Rosie?

Yes. The 37mm lens depth gives varifocal lenses enough height for all three vision zones.

Can I use the Freya Rosie as computer glasses?

Yes. Single vision lenses set to your screen distance, or varifocals if you also need distance vision, both work well for desk work.

What size is it?

It is size 53-16-140: 53mm lens width, 16mm bridge and 140mm arms, a medium fit.

Will it suit a narrow nose?

Yes. The 16mm bridge is designed for slimmer noses.

Who glazes my lenses?

Our own optical lab in the UK. Your lenses are made to your prescription and fitted into the frame before your glasses are sent to you.
