The Visage Metal 4507 is a women’s full-rim metal rectangular frame, sized 50-16-130, in Bronze, Lilac or Pink. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It belongs to the Visage collection.

Choosing your Visage Metal 4507 colour

Bronze. Bronze is a warm, brownish metallic finish. It brings warmth to the face and looks lovely with gold jewellery or a watch.

How it fits

At 50mm per lens, it is on the smaller side, which is ideal if most frames feel too wide. The 16mm bridge is on the narrow side. The 130mm arms are a little shorter than standard. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 116mm.

To check the fit, look at the three numbers printed inside the arm of glasses you already own. If they are within two or three millimetres, this frame should feel similar.

Your optician’s prescription will usually tell you which of these you need:

• Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
• Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.

The 32mm lens depth is on the slim side, so single vision or bifocal lenses usually work best. What you will need

Have your prescription to hand before you start. It shows the sphere, cylinder and axis for each eye, and sometimes your PD. If the PD is missing, your optician can give it to you. Then choose your colour and lens type, enter your prescription and add any extras, such as thinner lenses or a coating. You can check everything in your basket before you pay.

Keep them looking new
