Ferucci 194 Prescription Glasses

A clean rectangular frame works at the office, at home and everywhere in between. The Ferucci 194 is a men’s full-rim plastic rectangular frame, sized 55-16-145, in Blue Mottle or Brown Mottle. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Ferucci collection.

Blue Mottle or Brown Mottle: which one is you?

Blue Mottle. The Blue Mottle version is mottled blue. It flatters warm and olive skin and works with almost any outfit.

Brown Mottle. Brown Mottle is a mottled brown. It is softer than black and suits brown, auburn and red hair.

Still torn? Think about what you wear on an ordinary weekday, not on a night out. That is the colour you will be happiest with.

The details

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. The mottled pattern has more depth than a flat colour, so the frame looks rich up close.

The plastic frame is light on the nose and comfortable for all-day wear.

If you want a frame you can put on in the morning and forget about, the Ferucci 194 is a strong choice.

How to wear it

It looks sharp with a collared shirt and works just as well with a T-shirt. If you have a beard, a slightly bolder frame balances the face nicely.

How it fits

At 55mm per lens, it is a generous size, a good pick if standard frames feel tight. The 16mm bridge is on the narrow side. The 145mm arms are on the longer side, which suits larger heads. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 126mm.

Not sure about sizing? Compare these numbers with the ones on the inside arm of a pair that fits you well. A difference of two or three millimetres or less usually means a similar fit.

The 36mm lens depth works with single vision, bifocal and many varifocal lenses. Ordering online is simple

You need a valid prescription from your optician and your pupillary distance (PD), the distance between your pupils. Many opticians include your PD on the prescription; if yours does not, just ask for it. Choose your colour, pick your lens type, enter your details and add any lens upgrades. If you are unsure about size, compare the measurements above with a pair you already wear.

How your glasses are made

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Ferucci 194 and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

Looking after them

Clean your lenses with a microfibre cloth rather than your jumper, keep them in their case when they are in your bag, and do not leave them on a sunny car dashboard. Our lens care guide has more tips.

Yes. The 36mm lens depth gives varifocal lenses enough height for all three vision zones.
