Ferucci 2051 Prescription Glasses

Rectangular glasses add a little structure to the face without any fuss. The Ferucci 2051 is a men’s full-rim metal rectangular frame, sized 58-17-145, in Gold or Gunmetal. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. It is part of our Ferucci collection.

Choosing your Ferucci 2051 colour

Gold. Gold is a warm, soft gold. It is a warm, elegant choice that pairs nicely with earthy colours.

Gunmetal. Gunmetal is a dark, smoky grey metal. It is a quiet, professional finish that works with navy, charcoal and white.

Shape and style

Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. A bar across the top of the bridge gives the frame a classic aviator touch and adds strength to the front.

How it fits

With 58mm lenses, this is a larger frame that suits wider faces. The 17mm bridge is average. The 145mm arms are on the longer side, which suits larger heads. Across the lenses and bridge it measures about 133mm.

The easiest way to check is against glasses you already love. Most frames show their size inside the arm; if yours are close to these, you are in safe territory.

Lens options for the Ferucci 2051

Choose the lens type that suits how you use your glasses:

• Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
• Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
• Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
• Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.

At 46mm, the lens depth is deeper than most frames in our range, so varifocal lenses have lots of room. With a stronger prescription, a thinner high-index lens keeps the edges slim, and an anti-reflective coating cuts reflections from screens and street lights. Spend a lot of time on screens? Ordering online is simple

You need a valid prescription from your optician and your pupillary distance (PD), the distance between your pupils. Many opticians include your PD on the prescription; if yours does not, just ask for it. Choose your colour, pick your lens type, enter your details and add any lens upgrades. If you are unsure about size, compare the measurements above with a pair you already wear.

How your glasses are made

Every pair is made to order in our own UK lab. Your lenses are cut to your prescription, fitted into your Ferucci 2051 and checked by our technicians before they are sent out.

Keep them looking new
