About the Infusion Sandyam
Sandyam Prescription Glasses
Rectangular frames are the dependable all-rounders of eyewear. The Sandyam is a women’s full-rim plastic rectangular frame in Purple/Tort, Blue Mix or Orange/Grey/Tort. You can order it with single vision, varifocal or bifocal lenses made to your prescription. You will find it in our Infusion collection.
Choosing your Sandyam colour
Purple/Tort. Purple/Tort pairs purple with tort. It is softer than black and suits brown, auburn and red hair.
Blue Mix. The Blue Mix version is patterned blue. It brings a cool, calm touch of colour that suits most skin tones.
Orange/Grey/Tort. In Orange/Grey/Tort, the frame is orange and grey tortoiseshell. It goes with almost everything and never draws too much attention.
Each colour is shown in the gallery, so you can compare them side by side before you decide.
About the Sandyam design
Rectangular lenses suit round and oval faces, adding a bit of definition. The patterned finish means no two angles look quite the same.
The plastic frame is light on the nose and comfortable for all-day wear.
Whether it is your main pair or a spare, the Sandyam is easy to live with.
Styling tips
Match the frame colour to something you wear often, such as a favourite scarf or bag, for a pulled-together look. Neutral make-up keeps the focus on your eyes.

Lens options for the Sandyam
Pick the lenses that match your prescription:
- Single vision: the same prescription from edge to edge.
- Bifocal: distance at the top and a reading segment at the bottom.
- Varifocal: a smooth change from distance to reading, with no line.
- Ready readers: a fixed magnification for books, phones and screens.
With a stronger prescription, a thinner high-index lens keeps the edges slim, and an anti-reflective coating cuts reflections from screens and street lights.
Before you order
Make sure your prescription is in date; most adults in the UK are advised to have an eye test every two years, and your optician will tell you if you need one sooner. You will also need your PD, which tells our lab where to centre the lenses. With those two things ready, ordering takes a few minutes: choose your colour, pick your lenses, enter your details and you are done.
How your glasses are made
Your Sandyam is glazed in our UK-based lab. Once you have chosen your lenses and entered your prescription, we cut and fit the lenses and check the finished glasses before they go out.
Keep them looking new
Use lens spray and a soft cloth, fold the arms before putting your glasses down, and store them in a hard case. Our guide to looking after your lenses covers the rest.
Who it is for
This frame is a good fit for anyone who wants reliable everyday glasses without fuss. It works for long days at a desk, the school run, driving and catching up with friends, and it pairs with most wardrobes. If you are replacing an old pair, compare the measurements above with the glasses you wear now.
Your questions, answered
What is havana or tortoiseshell?
A mottled pattern of browns and ambers, a classic eyewear finish.
Can I use the Sandyam as computer glasses?
Yes. Single vision lenses set to your screen distance, or varifocals if you also need distance vision, both work well for desk work.
Do you make the lenses yourselves?
Yes. Every pair is made to order in our UK optical lab, where your lenses are cut to your prescription and fitted into your frame.
